Are There Any Costs?

No! This is a totally free event. Food Trucks will be on-site if you want to purchase food.

Transportation Recommendations

Best option is to take the C-Train. The Kerby Centre Platform is just steps away on the west end of the 7th Ave free fare zone. Other nearby C-Train stops include 8th Street SW, Sunalta and Sunnyside.

Parking Nearby

A 78 Stall ParkPlus Lot is located along 6th Avenue / Bow Trail on the North side of the old Science centre. This is LOT 64 Millennium Park South. There are 2 accessible stalls, access via 11th Street SW between Armory and Old Science Centre.

What Should I Bring?

  • Bring a water bottle and keep it filled up using one of our water stations on-site.
  • Yes, you can bring in your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. There will also be many tasty options at our varied concession vendors that should satisfy many tastes and dietary needs.
  • Dress for the weather.
  • Sunscreen, bug spray and any other supplies you need Something to sit on–tarp, blanket or low-backed, low-legged chair (legs 8 inches tall maximum; the back should be no more than 26 inches off the ground). The height restriction is in effect to allow for unobstructed views of the stage for all patrons.

What Should I Not Bring?

  • Do not bring Pets - we recommend that all pets stay at home, since it will be extremely busy and crowds are stressful for most dogs. All guide dogs are welcome.
  • No glass containers (exception baby food and bottles).
  • Video or audio recording equipment - Mobile telephones are permitted within the Festival site and photographic equipment is permitted if it is for personal non-commercial use only. However, any equipment capable of recording (whether temporarily or permanently) or transmitting any audio, visual or audio-visual, material for commercial use is prohibited.
